PRYDA AIR JIG

The Pryda 16m air jig is a heavy-duty jigging system that can further improve truss manufacturing efficiency compared to a conventional manual jig system. All 15 station boxes are fitted with pneumatic air locking and release mechanisms which greatly simplify the time taken in between truss set ups and prevent operator fatigue.

The conventional flow through station box design is maintained and therefore the air jig is compatible with many different C-Frame press head types. The station boxes allow a C-Frame press to move along the truss chords without the need to move the press head in and out of the boxes, significantly increasing truss manufacturing productivity.

The robust design of the air jig ensures a quality truss finish and consistency of all dimensions with extended use. Tapes are fitted to the base and apex rails for quick and accurate set up and the heavy-duty construction facilitates simple camber adjustments.

The moving arms move effortlessly and incorporate a unique manual brake clamp to ensure a positive locking of the top chord rails. A combination of engineered V groove wheels and heavy-duty castor wheels ensure a precise and easy movement of all moving arms. The low moving arm rail height is an added advantage to combat ergonomic and OH&S issues. Operators can comfortably walk over the jig when loading or unloading a finished product.
